Q. Do I need to create an account? No. CloudyToday works right away with no sign-up or login. An anonymous identifier is generated automatically on your device.
Q. Where are my cloud photos and diary entries stored? Only on your device. Photos are only sent through our server when you request AI analysis, and are deleted from the server immediately after analysis completes.
Q. How do I delete my records? You can delete individual entries from your collection at any time. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.
Q. Will I lose my records if I switch phones? Go to Settings > Backup to generate a backup code, then enter it on your new device to bring your records over.
Q. Can other people see my exact location from my map posts? No. Map posts never include your exact coordinates, photo, or diary text — only a neighborhood-level place name, the cloud type, and a random emoji are shown. Posts are automatically deleted 24 hours after posting.
